The sculptures above are some that I made during the Bent Wire Sculpture workshop I teach at the Creative Arts Center Dallas.

Bent Wire Sculpture Instructor: VALERY GUIGNON Bent wire sculpture is figure drawing in space. Learn to draw the human figure with wire that is easily bendable (we will create animals, too). No gluing or welding required. Start with a straight line and use your imagination to create figures that dance, fly, sit, embrace. Whatever you can imagine you can “draw”. Anything you want to weave into your sculpture (beads, bits of drift wood, feathers) will be provided along with the wire and tools.

Silk scarves:

Hand dyed painted silk scarves. These scarves are an asset to any wardrobe and will highlight your ensemble!

The colors are variegated vibrant teals, purples, fuchsias, beige's, and browns. Hand splashed with gold, black and copper paint.

Of course: No two are alike!

Untied in the front

One simple knot in front

Throw one side of full front up
onto your shoulder and pin
in place (it will slip off easily).

Two points on the front knotted

Tip: to tie the two points in to a knot-square knot is
R over L and under then L over R and under.

Roll away from you and put over the back of your neck

Untie and drop open for the next two ideas:

Wrap right side around to your left and the left
around to your right.....

...tie in back and adjust in mirror.

Bangle bracelet option......Take a bangle bracelet and gather up
full front......

.........tie in back and adjust in mirror.

......center bangle over your belly button, take
full front ends, open out from center.....

A new addition for summer is the Slit Side top.  An easy to wear top that is large and flowing.  Can be tied at the corner points with a 3/4 sleeve. Hand dyed and painted silk. These tops typically run large in size.
